Tried to get some info from your site. Much of it is not avail per GeoCities. [this is why I left them -ed.] Found the 1st Pres church records but the census was not there. The births in the 1800 were. Maybe you need a little bit of fine tuning. Good site otherwise.

WOW! What a valuable service you provide for those doing genealogy research for Westfield, NJ! Unfortunately, my ancestors were born in Elizabeth, NJ (Union County). Since you are such an "expert" at genealogy and I'm a "newbie", could you by chance give me any pointers on how to obtain ACCURATE records??? I am not even sure of the birth year of y great-great grandfather - I thought it was 1877, but "1878" is entered on his funeral record! To make matters more complicated, the family went to California in 1885 and the surname "Kernaghan" ended there. The only son (my great-grandfather) robbed his father's bank and ran to Canada to escape the law - and changed his last name. Oh boy! Any pointers you can give would be greatly appreciated by this Cannuck!

Beautiful Web page. I am descended from a John Cory who married Susannah Lyon 15 April 1790 at the New Providence Pres.Church. Littel's book says that this John was the brother of Noah and Parkhurst Cory...but the latest edition of Corys of America says that John, son of John and Phebe Parkhurst Cory married a Patty Davis. Also, Susannah Lyon's mother was Joanna Clarke. This families are so hard to separate. My John and Susannah Cory went to PA and then down to Dearborn County, IN before 1820.
