Notes for John HARRIMAN


Mr. Harriman made his will 17 February 1730. It was proved 22 March 1730.
In it he disposed of his lands and goods to his children and his brothers' children.

2/17/1730 John Harriman of Elizabeth Town, Essex County. yeoman, will of. Son-in-law John Hendricks, small Bible. Daughter, Hannah Hendricks, large Bible. Granddaughters, Hannah, Sarah and Lydia Hendricks, and to all other children of John and Hannah Hendricks land lately purchased of Joseph Willson, and 7 acres... Son-in-law John Clarke, and daughter Abigail Clarke and their children, Abigail and John, plantation joining lands of Benjamin Pierson, Benjamin Meeker and Capt. Ebenezer Lyon; land I purchased of my father-in-law Isaac Whitehead, of Elizabeth Town, dec'd; land in partnership with my brothers Richard and Stephen Harriman; lands joining lands of Benjamin Parkhurst, dec'd, William Ogden and Capt. Daniell Price. Elizabeth Harriman, daughter of brother Richard. Brother, Joseph Harriman, accounts with John Lyon. Children of brother, Joseph Harriman, viz John Harriman, instrument for surveying lands; Hannah Harriman, silver spoon; David Harriman, silver tumbler, and silver spoon to another of his daughters. Brother, Stephen Harriman, meadow joining meadow of Ephraim Price and Nathan Whitehead; his daughter, Joanna, one cow; his son, John, land I purchased of Benjamin Parkhurst, dec'd, joining land of Thomas Ogden and Richard Harriman; his other daughters each a silver spoon.
