Miss Phoebe H. Clark
The funeral of Miss Phoebe H. Clark, who died Friday morning, was hold in tho late residence, 502 East Broad street, on Sunday afternon at 3 o'clock. Rev. W. K. McKinney, pastor of the Presbyterian Church, conducted the services which were simple
in character.
Miss Clark was born on the old Clark homestead, now a part of Mountainside, and had resided in Westfield all of her life. She was in her ninety-fifth year at the time of
her death.
She was a member of the Presbyterian Church for eighty-two years, and a member of the Ladies' Sewing Society of that church for seventy five
years.
She was an aunt of State Senntor Arthur N. Pierson and had resided with the Senator's mother for many
years.
During her life she had gained a host of friends and all who knew her affectionately called her "Aunt Phoebe."
Interment was made in Fairview Cemetery.
