B.T. Foley Dies After Long Illness
Barrett Thomas Foley, 72 father of John O. Foley, proprietor of the Foley cleaners, died at 12:30 a.m. today at Holly's nursing home after a long illness. He came to Atchison in August because of failing health.
Funeral services will be held at the Sawin & Dyer chapel at 10:30 a.m. tomorrow, the Rev. Neil Dukelow officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Vernon cemetery.
For many years he had been in the cleaning business at Houston, Texas. He was born at Lexington, Kentucky, June 9, 1881.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Arlene Outten Foley, his son, John O. Foley, both of Atchison; two grandchildren, Jereld Foley, Atchison and Mrs. Janet Foley Merritt, Philadelphia, and two brothers, R.E. Foley and H.L. Foley, both of Lexington, Ky.
He was a member of the Second Christian church at Houston.
