Notes for Daniel CLARK

This seems to be linked to the incorrect Daniel Clark..
Littell, page 75; Scudder Notes by Roberta Kloos.
C.C. Gardner, page 93: "Daniel 4 Clark, son of John 3 Clark, was born 1710 in the Borough of Elizabeth. Littell's Passaic Valley Genealogies says that he was twice married, the second wife being a Miss Shipman, and that he had three children by his
first wife and five by his second. Mr. Clark lived in Somerset County, possibly near what is now North Plainfield. His will which is not dated, and proved April 21, 1756, gives his residence as the Borough of Elizabeth, in Somerset County. It
mentions his wife Abigail, his father John Clark dec'd, late of Elizabeth, in Somerset Co., four sons, three daughters, and an expected child, and makes wife Abigail, brother Jotham Clark, and friend William Parrot, executors. One of the witnesses was
Rev. Timothy Allen, Pastor of the Church at Turkey (New Providence). His widow md. William Parrot of N.P."
Children are listed in C.C. Gardner at page 95.
